Outside of the Classroom
The activities I do in the world give me the passion and skills to teach. A love for reading, writing, and technology motivates me to be a life-long learner. I think volunteering is very important. I am Garden Coordinator for Glenfair Community Garden in my neighborhood, and I enjoy connecting people with others nearby. Digging in the dirt and seeing plants grow is also a passion of mine. I love the Portland area and I want to see it grow in a positive way. I am a Christian and regularly serve the city with friends in my church, Imago Dei Community. *Note: After moving away from Portland, this section will change as I get to know Ontario better.

I love to play ultimate frisbee with friends and going on neighborhood walks with my family. In my spare time I enjoy technology, juggling, cheesy jokes, solving my Rubik's cube (4:47), board games, jigsaw puzzles, exploring the city and the world, camping/hiking, and designing websites like this one.
